Day 1

Arrival on Baltra Island

Upon arrival on Baltra Island you are welcomed and assisted with embarkation procedures.

Santa Cruz Highlands & Charles Darwin Research Station

After arrival you explore the highlands of Santa Cruz Island. At a local ranch you observe giant tortoises in the wild. Afterwards you visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and gain fascinating insights into the conservation and research projects of the Galapagos Islands.

Day 2

Post Office Bay, Floreana Island

In the morning you visit historic Post Office Bay on Floreana Island. Alongside Zodiac excursions and kayaking opportunities you discover the famous wooden barrel that has served as a traditional postal system for centuries. Afterwards enjoy a snorkelling briefing with first practice sessions from the beach.

Champion Islet & Punta Cormorant, Floreana Island

In the afternoon you explore Champion Islet during snorkelling excursions or Zodiac rides. Afterwards enjoy a nature walk at Punta Cormorant with opportunities to observe flamingos, seabirds and coastal landscapes.

Day 3

North Seymour

Early in the morning you enjoy a nature walk on North Seymour among frigate birds and blue-footed boobies. Afterwards there are opportunities for snorkelling or Zodiac excursions along the coastline.

Rabida

In the afternoon you explore Rabida Island with its red sand beaches and volcanic scenery. Activities include kayaking, snorkelling and nature walks.

Day 4

Punta Vicente Roca, Isabela Island

At sunrise the ship circumnavigates the spectacular lava formations of Roca Redonda. Afterwards you explore Punta Vicente Roca on Isabela Island during Zodiac excursions and snorkelling activities with opportunities to observe the fascinating underwater world. Fernandina is home to the only colony of flightless cormorants, a live wonder of evolution.

Punta Espinoza, Fernandina Island

In the afternoon you visit Punta Espinoza on Fernandina Island. During a nature walk you discover lava fields, marine iguanas, sea lions and numerous seabirds. Additional Zodiac excursions along the coastline are also offered.

Day 5

Playa Espumilla & Caleta Bucanero, Santiago Island

Before breakfast you enjoy nature and photography walks or kayaking at Playa Espumilla. Later the programme includes Zodiac excursions, glass-bottom Zodiac rides and snorkelling activities at Caleta Bucanero.

Puerto Egas, Santiago Island

In the afternoon you explore Puerto Egas during a coastal nature walk. The area impresses with lava formations, tidal pools and diverse wildlife.

Day 6

Departure from Baltra Island

After disembarkation you are transferred to Baltra Airport for your return flight to Quito or Guayaquil. From there you begin your journey home or continue with your individual travel programme.
