Whale Watching Tour
Today you will go on a 2.5-hour whale watching tour: The number of humpback whales sighted off the Pacific coast of Peru each year can vary from year to year, but the number ranges between 400 and 2,600. The first humpback whales to arrive on the Pacific coast of Peru each year are always the young males, which appear in larger groups and stay relatively close to the coast. They are the whales most often seen performing acrobatic leaps to attract the attention of females. Humpback whales are around 12-15 meters long and weigh around 30,000 kilograms.
