Hike around the Quilotoa Lagoon

Hike around the turquoise-blue Quilotoa Lagoon, the hike takes 5-7 hours depending on your fitness and always leads along the ridge around the lake, a constant up and down through a grassy landscape. To the left, the lake glistens a few hundred metres below, to the right, there are always wonderful views of the countryside, of gorges and mountains up to 6,000 metres, covered in clouds. A beautiful scenery! Several steep climbs and the fact that you are at just under 4,000 metres make the hike strenuous and demanding.
