Diving in the amazing Isla de la Plata
The cold Humboldt current coming from the South and the warm El Niño current coming from the North, meet around the Ecuadorian coastline before changing their direction to the West (and bathing the Isla de la Plata and the Galapagos Islands). This natural phenomenon gives these coasts an incredible diversity of marine wildlife and therefore amazing diving sites.
Isla de la Plata is considered a small Galapagos belonging to the Machalilla National Park as several of the species of the Enchanted islands also decide to nest here. Here there are also coral reefs hosting a great bio-diversity of marine species. Depending on the season, you can find manta rays, fish, turtles, and dolphins.
This tour includes 2 immersions.
