Half day tour through Lima

You will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the center of Lima, where your sightseeing begins.

Lima, also called the "City of Kings", was founded in January 1535 by the Spanish conqueror Francisco Pizarro. You will visit the main square where the Government Palace and the Archbishop's Palace are located. This is followed by the cathedral and its religious museum. Afterwards, visit the San Francisco Convent, which hosts the largest collection of religious art in America. The highlight of this visit are the underground catacombs.

Towards the end of the tour you drive through the residential areas of San Isidro and Miraflores. San Isidro, which is considered the "Garden District" of Lima, consists of sprawling green spaces and exclusive neighborhoods. Miraflores is famous for its shopping, gardens, parks full of flowers and beaches.
