Santa Fe

Santa Fé, sometimes known as Barrington Island, is one of the smaller Galapagos Islands. It is 24 km² and the highest point of the island is 259 meters above sea level. It is located in the center of the archipelago, southeast of Santa Cruz.

The dive at Santa Fé is known to be one of the easiest in the Galapagos. Divers often see tropical fish, rays and sea turtles in the waters here, and the site includes a cave dive at 16 meters. The young sea lions of the local colony often like to get up close and play with visiting divers.

There are 5 dive boats, starting from Santa Cruz to the different dive sites. Depending on the day you book a diving trip, we will arrange the appropriate dive boat.

Water entry and exit: Divers fall backwards off the stern sides to get into the water and gather behind the boat. The return is easy - hold a solid rope on starboard, hand the sailor your equipment, and then climb up the ladder.

Itineraries are subject to the regulations of the Galapagos National Park and may change at any time without prior notification.
