AmaZOOnico Wildlife Rescue Center

The AmaZOOnico Wildlife Rescue Center in the Ecuadorian Amazon region takes care of animals that have become victims of illegal trade and reintroduces them into the wild. After quarantine, various examinations and a rehabilitation process, the animals can be successfully released back into the rainforest.

Unfortunately, there are also many animals that cannot be reintroduced into their natural habitat for various reasons. The center also gives these animals the best care and ensures that they never end up in a cage again.

At the AmaZOOnico Wildlife Rescue Center you can see macaws, parrots, jaguarundis, ocelots, coatis, toucans, turtles, various species of monkeys and many more.
