Cuenca Old Town and Cajas National Park

In the morning: Cuenca is a modern European-style city, and many agree that it is architecturally the most beautiful city of Ecuador. The visit starts at the Parque Abdon Calderon, where the old and new cathedrals are located. There are many museums, colonial houses and alleys that should not be missed.

In the afternoon: The Cajas National Park is located a few kilometers west of Cuenca and is dotted with 200 lagoons at altitudes of 3,150 to 4,400 meters. The hike is relatively easy despite the altitude. Enjoy the magnificent scenery!
