Day 1
Puno - Desaguadero - Tiwanaku - La Paz
Excursion from Puno along Lake Titicaca with breathtaking views, transfer to the border at Desaguadero (3.5 hours' drive) for border crossing and customs formalities and meeting with the Bolivian team.
From here it is a total of 5 hours to La Paz, with a stopover in Tiwanaku where you will have lunch. This culture dates back to the period from 400 to 1100 AD, was one of the most important pre-Inca civilizations and is considered one of the most developed of the time. The most important monuments visited on this trip are: the Kalasasaya temple with the Sun Gate, the Ponce and Fraile stone monoliths, the Akapana pyramid and the semi-subterranean temple. Two local museums exhibiting pottery are also part of this visit. Continue to La Paz.

Day 2
La Paz – Copacabana – Isla del Sol - Copacabana
Pleasant drive north by private van through the Altiplano, then along Lake Titicaca and parallel to the Cordillera Real of the Andes to Copacabana (3.5 hours drive). Boat trip across the lake to Isla del Sol (1 hour), to Huacani for an aptapi (typical Altiplano lunch), then by boat to Yumani to visit the steps and the Fountain of Eternal Youth; the trip continues by boat to the ruins of the Inca temple of Pilkokaina, return to Copacabana.
Included: lunch (typical aptapi) and dinner.
One overnight stay at the Hotel Copacabana (standard room).

Day 3
Copacabana – Puno
on't miss a beautiful sunrise in Copacabana, a lovely village on the shores of the lake! Visit the church and the famous “Virgen Morena”. Afterwards transportation to Puno (3 hours drive).
