Resting on the river's shore, Rio Napo Lodge offers an authentic connection to nature. Run by a local Indigenous family, the community's deep ties to the river can be felt in this simple and comfortable lodge.
Authentic local cuisine is served daily in the lodge's restaurant and cocktails are served amongst the lush greenery and local wildlife in the garden. With such a prime location, the hotel offers many rainforest tours lead by trained nature guides.
Rooms at the lodge are very simple in decoration, featuring exposed beams and bright, embroidered comforters. Each room includes a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries, and features a private terrace with a hammock.
Directly across the river and only a short walk away is Misahuallí, a small town known for great nightlife, especially on weekends and around the market place where you can find interesting and cozy bars and restaurants.
When the rivers swell, a small 'beach' is formed where the rivers Misahuallí and Napo flow together. The morning atmosphere on the beach should not be missed.
