The Cotopaxi Sanctuary Lodge is a unique retreat on the slopes of the Sincholagua Volcano, offering an impressive view of the opposite Cotopaxi Volcano, the highest active volcano in the world. Located at 3,600 meters above sea level, the lodge is nestled in the vast, untouched landscape of the Andean páramo with its gentle grasslands and extraordinary wildlife.
In this environment, red deer, white-tailed deer, Andean foxes, and wild horses roam freely. With a bit of luck, even rare Andean pumas or the elusive Andean spectacled bear can be observed. This natural spectacle is complemented by a great variety of endemic bird species, making the area a paradise for nature lovers.
The lodge features four modern and comfortable domes with large panoramic windows, offering a spectacular view of Cotopaxi Volcano. Each dome is stylishly furnished and offers accommodations for both single and double occupancy. A particular highlight is the private bathtub, from which you can enjoy the stunning landscape even on chilly mornings or evenings. Additionally, four elegant suites are available in the main house, all of which are interconnected. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive views of the Andean panorama.
