As one of the pioneer families on the Galapagos, the Vargas family has been on the property of the current boutique hotel since the 1960s. Over the years, the property has been used as a boarding school, restaurant and home. Since 1989 it has been a small hotel with wonderful rooms and a feeling of being at home. The grounds offer many opportunities to sit down and meet other guests, read a book or enjoy the atmosphere. In addition, Plaza Luna has a roof terrace where you can enjoy the local and freshly prepared breakfast and have a cup of coffee or tea at any time. Furthermore, Plaza Luna supports local businesses and puts a lot of emphasis on sustainability. As part of this, you can refill your water bottles at water stations.
