The impressive Guaycapi Birding Lodge is located an hour and a half's drive from Quito. It was founded by a young local entrepreneur. It is the perfect retreat for those who love spending time in the mountains and observing birds. The area is home to more than 200 species of stunning and colourful hummingbirds. The view upon arrival is breathtaking and cannot be captured in a photo. The first phase of construction at the Guaycapi Lodge has ten upscale rooms, all of which have a small terrace with a view of the mountains.
