Teotihuacán archaeological site
Today you will visit Teotihuacán, the “City of the Gods”, which is located around 50 kilometers north-east of Mexico City. Teotihuacán is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest ruined city in Latin America, covering an area of 22 km². A large part of the city is still unexplored and unexcavated. Teotihuacán was once the most important cultural center and was home to Mexico's most advanced indigenous peoples. Along the “Street of the Dead” you will have the opportunity to admire the fascinating buildings. Don't miss the opportunity to climb the Pyramid of the Sun or the Pyramid of the Moon. Basílica de Guadalupe
In the afternoon, you will visit the famous Basílica de Guadalupe, the most important pilgrimage church in Mexico. It preserves the original image of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Since colonial times, this place has been considered the holiest in the country.
