Arrival in Mendoza
After your arrival at the airport, you will pick up your rental car and drive to the hotel.

Mendoza
Visit a few wineries in the area on this day. The province of Mendoza is considered the largest wine region in Argentina.

Day 3
Mendoza - El Barreal
Drive north over a pass around 3,000 meters high and enjoy the view of the three seven-thousand-metre peaks Mercedario, Aconcagua and Tupungato. Continue via Uspallata to the oasis village of El Barreal. On the way, we recommend a detour to Chile to see the impressive Puente del Inca rock formation.
The journey takes around 215 km and about 4 hours.

Day 4
El Barreal
Today you will travel to the beautiful Galingasta Valley at the foot of Mount Mercedario.

Day 5
El Barreal - Ischigualasto Nationalpark - El Chiflón
The journey continues to the bizarre “Moon Valley” of Ischigualasto, where you can take part in a guided tour (bookable on site). The tour then continues to El Chiflón.
The journey takes around 400 km and about 7 hours.

Day 6
Talampaya Nationalpark
After breakfast, you will drive to the impressive Talampaya National Park with its huge rock faces and bizarre stone figures. You can book a guided tour on site.
Please note: Both national parks may only be entered with a park ranger. It is therefore necessary to book a guided tour for day 5 and 6 on site.
The journey takes around 170 km and about 3,5 hours.

El Chiflón - Mendoza
Return via San Juan to Mendoza and drop off the rental car at the airport.
