Your Travel Experience with Galapagos PRO

Looking for fun and adventure? - Visit Baños!

On this tour, you will discover Baños de Agua Santa - the adventure capital of Ecuador. You will visit the route of the waterfalls with the famous Pailón del Diablo, the tree house “La Casa del Arbol” with its sky swing and get to know the town of Baños.

Today you have to get up early, but it's worth it! Enjoy the drive from Quito to Baños along the Avenue of the Volcanoes. If visibility is good, you can see and photograph Ecuador's second-highest volcano, Cotopaxi, with its snow-covered peak.

Once you arrive in Baños, your route takes you along the “Ruta de las Cascadas” - the route of the waterfalls. Probably the most famous waterfall in Ecuador is the imposing “Pailón del Diablo” (“Devil's Gorge”). Here you climb up narrow steps directly alongside the waterfall. But be careful: the steps vary in height and are wet and slippery due to the spray. The falling water gets louder with every meter and the spray gets thicker and thicker. You can enjoy the fantastic view of the waterfall from a suspension bridge.

Continue to the “swing at the end of the world” at the tree house “La Casa del Arbol”. Swing at an altitude of over 2,600 meters on a steep slope with a spectacular view of the active Tungurahua volcano.

t is also possible to try out extreme sports such as white water rafting, bungee jumping or the zip wire park.

After a short walk through Baños, you will return to Quito. Subject to change. The order of the stops may vary.

Please note that the availability of extreme sports activities in Baños is not guaranteed and may vary from day to day.
