The stroll leads to the bohemian district of Barranco, where you will be greeted with a cheerful atmosphere of the surrounding colorful houses. You can participate in the local tradition of crossing the "Suspiros" (Bridge of sighs) bridge while holding your breath and making a wish. However, do be careful! You must hold your breath until the end of the bridge for your wish to come true!

Visit an art exhibition by local artist

During this part of the tour, you will be immersed in the world of one of the most renowned Peruvian artists - Mario Testino. The permanent exhibition of the famous photographer is held at the MATE Museum. His works range from acclaimed portraits of Kate Moss and Princess Diana to the elegance of the colorful indigenous traditional fashion captured on camera. Get ready to be astounded by his works.

Visit the best collection of Peruvian paintings

The next stop is the Pedro de Osma Museum, located in a beautiful twentieth-century mansion of astonishing and dazzling architecture. Pedro de Osma was a private collector specializing in Peruvian art from the 16th to the 19th century. Today it is said that the museum houses the best collection of paintings in Peru although the architecture of this beautiful mansion itself is already a good reason to visit the museum. Even though the collection consists largely of Peruvian art, it also includes some international works, from Spain, Germany, Italy and more.

Gastronomic stop

You will finish this insightful artistic journey on two wheels as you will ride a bike to savor a truly phenomenal gastronomic experience. Before you reach the restaurant, you will have a stop for a refreshing cup of coffee at a classic coffee shop of old Barranco where you will taste its famous coffee. You will then continue towards "Javier restaurant" that specializes in traditional Peruvian gastronomy.
