City tour in the old town
Many travelers instantly fall in love with this city - the warmth of the people here surpasses even that of the rest of the country. This is how you begin your exploration tour with your city guide: perched high up on a hill is the Castillo de San Felipe, the most imposing fortress ever built by the Spanish in one of their colonies. This mighty bastion effectively protected the colonial rulers from the dreaded pirate attacks. After your four-hour tour of the magnificent old town in the morning, you will probably already have fallen in love with Cartagena. Afterwards, you will have some free time: How about a refreshing dip in the hotel pool? Perhaps you would also like to visit the golden beach or the fascinating gold museum?

The exploration of Medellin begins with a tour of Comuna 13, a district that was once considered one of the most dangerous. Today, you will experience an impressive transformation here. Using the famous escalators, you will glide through a vibrant gallery of graffiti that embodies hope and the dream of a better future.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to meet a remarkable woman. She experienced the times of violence at first hand and has been tirelessly involved in social work ever since. Thanks to your tour guide, you will be able to talk to her and hear first-hand about her moving experiences and unwavering commitment. On the way back, you make a stop in the city center, at Plaza Botero. Here you will find 23 impressive statues of the famous contemporary painter and sculptor Fernando Botero. You will then take a short orientation tour of the city center, ending at your hotel in the afternoon.
