Day 1
Transfer zu Ihrem Hotel und Stadttour in Santa Cruz de la Sierra
Pickup at the Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Viru Viru) Airport and transfer to your hotel.
Enjoy a delicious Bolivian lunch at a local restaurant. Included in the price: Transfers and lunch.
Afterward, take a tour of Santa Cruz, a city that stands out from the rest of the Andean region due to its geographical, historical, and cultural characteristics and is considered the gateway to the Bolivian Amazon rainforest. A three-hour tour of our city’s most attractive and noteworthy sites, including visits to museums, major monuments, residential neighborhoods, and the “La Recoba” handicraft market.
Day 2
Santa Cruz – Samaipata – El Fuerte Ruins
Departure from Santa Cruz to Samaipata (120 km – 3 hours), a drive offering magnificent views of the sub-Andean landscape; arrival at the ruins of “El Fuerte,” the largest example of pre-Hispanic rock architecture in South America, which has been designated a cultural heritage site. In Samaipata, visit the museum and take a walking tour of the town.

Overnight stay at El Pueblito Resort or similar.
With a spectacular view of the Samaipata Valley, El Pueblito Resort is a small replica of a colonial town that combines elements of 18th-century eastern Bolivia with unique creative and artistic touches. It features a picturesque central plaza with stone ruins and lookout points that seem to reach right up to the sky.
Day 3
Giant Fern Forest - Serranía Volcanoes
Departure for the giant fern forest, a 2-hour hike through this incredible landscape, and return to Samaipata. Continue on to the Serranía Volcanes (1½ hours), arriving at Refugio Volcanes, tucked away in a deep valley and surrounded by tropical rainforests and crystal-clear waterfalls. Hike along educational and nature trails featuring a wide variety of orchids and bromeliads.
Note: Permitted entry and exit times for Refugio Volcanes: 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Overnight stay at Refugio Volcanes or similar (breakfast buffet included).
The Refugio is tucked away in a deep valley in the southern part of Amboro National Park. It offers spectacular views of sandstone cliffs and the tropical forests surrounding the nature reserve. There are also hiking trails where you can admire the flora and fauna.
Day 4
Serranía Volcanoes - Santa Cruz de la Sierra
You’ll go on a hike along the trails of Amboró National Park with a local guide. Afterward, you’ll return to Santa Cruz, where you’ll stay again at the Ibis Hotel Santa Cruz or a similar hotel.

Transfer to Santa Cruz de La Sierra Airport (Viru Viru) or continue your journey on your own.
