Day 1

ARRIVAL TO MANDARI PANGA

Upon your arrival in Coca, you will be picked up by the staff of Mandari Panga to begin your tour. Your will go on direction to your lodging place which is located in the Yasuní National Park, immersed in the enormous biodiversity of the area. You will have a 2h land trip and then another 1H30 trip on a motorized canoe along the Tiputini. As soon as you arrive to Mandari Panga, you will be accommodated in a first-class camping tent (located in high roof construction that will avoid mosquitoes in your tend). After that, you will enjoy a delicious lunch and also a welcome drink while your tour guide explains you the activities that you will have on the following days. After, will have a night walk in the jungle to observe some of the animal species that live in the area, and then enjoy a delicious dinner served in the common dining room, where you can also share a pleasant moment with the other passengers and the staff of Mandari Panga.

Day 2

HUANGANA TRAIL - VISIT TO A LOCAL COMMUNITY

After your delicious breakfast, you will cross the Tiputini river by canoe to begin your hike in Huangana Trail. On this part of the virgin forest, you will be able to experience the best wildlife of the Amazonas. After your 5-6 hour walk, you will enjoy lunch a native home full of history and tradition. This home was rebuilt to be a dining room for tourists- After that, you will continue your excursion in the Lamedero Sahino (wild pig clay lick). In the afternoon, you will visit "La casa de la Abuela" (the grandmother's house), a traditional native construction, where the local community share valuable time. Here you will see the the elaboration of artisan chocolate and the Chicha drink (a traditional alcoholic drink) . You will return to the camp to enjoy dinner and later go for a night walk to see amphibians, fireflies and other insects and arachnids of the area.

Day 3

VISIT TO PARROTS CLAY LICK – LOMA TOUCAN

After breakfast, you will take a canoe trip for approximately 40 minutes against the current of Tiputini River, here you will be able to observe some animal species, until you reach a small branch of a stream called Rumiyacu (stone river). This will guide you to the Parrot Lick: the most representative wildlife space where you will be able to watch variety of birds such as toucans, parrots, macaws, pigeons and other animal species such as the small tamarin monkeys, pigmy marmoset monkeys. Also, a few predators can be seen such as snakes, boas and raptors. At noon, you will return to the camp where lunch will be served, after that you will have some time to rest. Around 3:30 p.m., the next trek will begin at the Tucan Trail, yoou will explore this area for about 1 hour, after you will go along the Tiputini River, if you have luck and catch something, it will be served on your dinner.

Day 4

TRANSFER BACK TO COCA

Your breakfast will be served early in the morning depending on the time of your departure back to Coca and Quito. If your transportation back to Coca and Quito, leaves in the afternoon you can enjoy another excursion in the morning.
